Constanza Cabrera
I majored in Communication Design at Pratt Institute, specializing in Art Direction and Advertising. I then earned my MA in Arts Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship in the Arts from Purchase College. Prior to this, I obtained a certificate in Photography from the New York Film Academy.
My professional journey began at Pratt Institute’s print shop, where I worked from my freshman year until graduation. During my junior year, I secured my first internship as a Creative Designer at W.Britt, where I was hired a year later as an Art Director and Graphic Designer, roles I held until 2019.
I've also worked as an Art Designer at IMGN Media, and as a Graphic Designer for both Sideways Inc. and T.E.A.L. (Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer). Additionally, I served as a Technician Trainer at Pratt Institute’s Digital Output Center. I ventured deeper into the corporate world when I worked for EG+ as a freelance Art Director, gaining experience in B2B with clients such as ExxonMobil, MetLife, and BIC. Most recently, I worked as an Art Designer at Warner Music Group, where my responsibilities expanded to include art directing photo shoots, creating and curating social media content, video and photo editing, graphic design, motion design, and serving as a Creative Director.
In addition to my corporate experience, I founded my own enterprise, Sapphic House, a social club that embodies the essence of the Greek poet Sappho. This venture combines art and queerness, with community being at the forefront.
