Constanza Cabrera
Constanza majored in Communication Design at Pratt Institute, specializing in Art Direction and Advertising. She later earned her MA in Arts Management from Purchase College, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship in the Arts. Before that, she completed a certificate in Photography at the New York Film Academy.
Her creative journey began at Pratt’s print shop, where she worked throughout her undergraduate years. During her junior year, she secured her first internship as a Graphic Designer at W.Britt, where she was later hired as Art Director—a position she held until 2019.
Constanza has since built a dynamic career across both the creative and corporate worlds. She has worked as an Art Designer at IMGN Media, and as a Graphic Designer at Sideways Inc. and T.E.A.L. (Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer). She also served as a freelance Art Director at EG+, gaining valuable B2B experience with clients such as ExxonMobil, MetLife, and BIC. Most recently, she served as an Art Designer at Warner Music Group, where she led art direction for photo shoots, produced and curated content for social media, and handled video editing, motion graphics, and overall creative direction.
Currently, Constanza works as a UX/UI Designer at DirecTV, where she focuses on crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that align with both brand identity and user needs.
In addition to her professional work, she is the founder of Sapphic House—a Brooklyn-based social club inspired by the Greek poet Sappho. Blending art, queerness, and community, the space hosts creative workshops and gatherings designed to foster connection, expression, and a sense of belonging.
